Initial intake/consultation and psychotherapy

 

Intakes/initial consultations will be scheduled for 60 minutes. Additional therapy sessions will be scheduled for 45 minutes, once a week, unless otherwise discussed. Family therapy sessions will be scheduled for 60 minutes and skills classes/group therapy is typically 60 minutes for adolescents and 90 minutes for adults. 

 

Payment and Insurance

 

Payment is due at the end of each session. Due to telehealth services, payment must be through credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover). If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you are generally permitted to use funds from these accounts for payment for psychological consultation, evaluation, and treatment. Please check about the details of your HSA or FSA plan to verify covered services. I do not accept any insurance plans, but I can provide a receipt/summary of services if you would like to submit this information to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursement.

 

Cancellation Policy 

Because we reserve time specifically for you when an appointment is scheduled, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Otherwise, the full fee will be charged for missed sessions. 
 
Emergencies 

 

In case of emergency, please call 911 or go directly to your nearest emergency room.
